Cookie Policy

Last Updated: March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how AgilePress Solutions LLC (“AgilePress”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our platform at agilepress.solutions. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control our use of them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by online service providers to facilitate and help make the interaction between users and websites faster and easier, as well as to provide reporting information.

2. How and why we use cookies

We use first-party and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our platform to operate securely, and we refer to these as “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies.

Here is how we categorize the cookies used on AgilePress:

  • Essential Website Cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our platform. They include authentication cookies (keeping you logged into your AgilePress Dashboard) and security nonces that protect your account from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks when creating or editing Stacks.
  • Payment & Transaction Cookies: We use SureCart (powered by Stripe and/or PayPal) to handle secure checkout and subscription management. These third-party providers use strictly necessary cookies to process your payments securely, prevent fraud, and manage your active subscription status.
  • Functionality Cookies: These cookies allow our platform to remember choices you make when you use the dashboard, such as remembering which tab you were viewing (e.g., “Plugins”, “Themes”, or “Snippets”) so you have a seamless building experience.
  • Analytics and Performance Cookies: We may use basic analytics cookies to understand how our users navigate the platform, which features are used the most, and to help us improve the overall speed and user interface of the AgilePress Hub.

3. API Authentication (JWT vs. Cookies)

As a developer-focused tool, transparency is key. When you use the AgilePress deployment plugin on a destination client site to pull a Stack, we do not use tracking cookies. Remote connections to your Private Stacks and Vault files are authenticated via short-lived, encrypted JSON Web Tokens (JWT). These tokens are stateless, securely transmitted, and automatically expire after a short period (e.g., 1 hour). We do not drop third-party tracking cookies on your clients’ destination websites during the deployment process.

4. How can I control cookies?

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use parts of our website, but your access to some functionality and secure areas (such as logging into the Dashboard and managing Stacks) will be severely restricted or broken.

To learn how to manage cookies on popular browsers, please visit the help pages of your respective browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).
